|Reason For Sale:
Northern Colorado Firm provides BOTH general electrical installation and solar installations for very high-end, new custom homes and remodels (from rough-in through final trim). While a Master Electrician’s License is required, the company has at least two employees that will use their license. The company is fully staffed for the current volume of work and is expanding staff for growth. A Key Manager is aware of the sale and will stay long-term; he can perform virtually all of the Seller’s duties.
The Buyer does not need technical expertise but should bring strategic management skills as there are many directions the business can be directed for growth if desired. This company is self-sustaining and could be managed remotely or bolted onto a larger organization.
Sales have been strong and growing year-over-year. Gross Margins remain quite high. The local builders are very loyal and not swayed easily to competition from out of the area or from local competitors that don’t perform all of these services.
- Over $1MM in booked orders and more in the sales funnel
- 50% of revenue is from Solar and 50% is from General Electrical services
- Both services can be grown without expanding beyond the current territory
- High Profit Margin
- High Barrier to Entry – which keeps competition low
- Scalable – can expand to other cities
- Growth Potential – products secured to expand sales within territory
SBA Financeable: the company has multiple sources for a licensed manager who is needed to obtain state contractor’s license.
