Personal Experience
Ms. Rivero’s enthusiasm for working with entrepreneurs brought her to business brokerage. She enjoys guiding business owners through the complex, and sometimes emotional, process of selling their businesses. Kim began her career in high-tech, with the co-founding of a Boulder computer store at age 22. She later sold that business and moved into web development. She worked for several Boulder high-tech startups, then ran a boutique web communications firm for 15 years. Kim sits on the board of the Colorado Association of Business Intermediaries (CABI). She has earned a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation from the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and she holds a Colorado real estate broker license. Kim has a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Computer Art as well as a Web Technologies Certificate. She enjoys music, art, running, and hiking.
