Business Description

This well-established niche service company installs above and below ground natural gas lines for both residential and commercial customers. Over 40 years of experience and expertise have gone into the creation of a beautifully efficient and profitable business with little direct competition and tremendous upside.

The market served by this company is installation, replacement, and repair of gas lines to all indoor and outdoor gas appliances, including fireplaces and fire pits, hot tubs, saunas and pools, indoor and outdoor kitchens, and more. Repair and replacement of existing lines in a small, but important part of the business.

The services provided by the Company overlap those offered by plumbing businesses. However, gas line installations are not the focus of most traditional plumbers and it often makes more sense for plumbing companies to sub-contract this work to businesses such as the Company. Since they specialize just in gas lines, a Master Plumbers license is not required. Instead, an Operator Qualification (OQ) through Federal Regulation Certification is required, which is much easier to acquire.

Company operations were totally revamped 3 years ago by streamlining and simplifying the processes and eliminating less profitable and more time-consuming tasks and repeat visits. The result was a much easier to run and more profitable business. The skyrocketing sales trend for the last 3 years has been $3.5M, $4.0M, and $5.3M, with projected revenues of $6.0M in 2021, and adjusted respective EBITDAs of $420K, $705K and $1.563M. The growth trend is expected to continue and both tangible assets and personnel are in place to handle significantly more business with little additional investment.
